One of my goals is to have a six pack that is visible -- that means I prefer it over hair. I currently have it and have not ever used finasteride yet. I go to gym once a week and eat a lot of junk food. Do you think my body will remain the same or will I lose the defined muscles when I start taking finasteride? Should I take the risk when I hit 18 or give up the fight? (Have been on Regaine for more than a year now, but not satisfied at all with the results: receding very fast.)

If you want a 6 pack you need to work your abs more than once a week
You also need to cut down on junk food. You can have great abs but if they are under a layer of fat no-one will see them

I have been on finasteride for 6 months and have noticed no difference to my ability in the gym (I go 3 times a week)
I have not lost any defintion either

You may or may not get sides from finasteride - only one way to find out dude

Atm, I eat junk food, but get no fat from it, so I also have a six pack. I will probably have to change my diet, but how? What is junk and what is not?

I know you dont wanna hear it but you really need to cut down on junk food. It will take a toll on ur health including ur hair. Obviously ppl are made differently and will react differently to finasteride but I have been on finasteride for 4 months now and have gained a six pack in this time and lost 35 to 40 lbs. Im 20 and pretty athletic but I havent had any side effects from finasteride other than more hair on my head. Little advice is to learn to eat healthy and keep it a lifestyle.. when I was 17 i had high cholesterol due to bad eating and I think that played a role in hair loss for me bc thats when I first started losing my hair. Try finasteride and see what happens. If u get side effects just drop and they will most likely go away. Good Luck!

Fanjera, it looks like the junk food and not working out frequently hasn't caught up with you yet. finasteride or no finasteride, it doesn't matter, I don't think you can maintain your six pack indefinitely.
