QUESTION IS I HAVE LITTLE BALD SPOTS BECAUSE OF THE DIFFUSE THINNING SO IS IT TO EARLY TO JUDGE OF 2 MONTHS ON PROPECIA AND NIZORAL?

Wait 6 months then assess.

Diffuse thinners usually respond well to treatments and you have caught it early so you should expect good results. Also you have a good head shape and look good with a shaved head. Don't worry about hair loss.

king, I'm not sure if you're actually thinning. But the buzzed hair might be playing a factor.

Me, like you, have been on finasteride+nizoral only (3 months). Haven't seen visible gains yet, but because of going through a minor shed (I think?) where I'm seeing way more shorter and weaker hairs shed rather than longer hairs, I'm also going to assess at 6 months, and then a year. If things stabilize at that time, I'll add a minoxidil product.

So, conclusion: wait more. I'm in the same boat as you, and at least you look like your head's shape fits a buzzed cut.

finasteride is not a miracle drug. In most cases its for maintenance. I dont understand why poeple here always go on about waiting to see regrowth. If you are keeping what you have consider it a success.

Sounds like you're shedding buddy. I wouldn't worry about it right now. I know that's easy for me to say but trust me. It's within your best interests to ride it out and give it at LEAST 6 months...I'd say 12 to be fair. Given the rate at which hair cycles some people don't see improvement until 10-12 months after starting finasteride. I shed a lot within my first 6 months and then from 6-10 the shedding slowed and I started to see some significant regrowth at about 12 months. So hang in there, it really is different for everybody.

I know it sucks dude, I have been through sheds where I thought I was losing ground fast but it came back. Right now I am having another hefty shed at 9 months but I think it will come back. If I had success at 6 months why wouldn't I still at nine months?

Think of it as learning to develop patience.

Also you do not need minoxidil, between the two of us, I need the minoxidil more than you.

Well when I started using fina, my hair got worse for like 3 months. Then it stabilized. I mean just keep using it, your hair wont get any worse or something (not worse then when you wouldnt have used anything). I mean I think your now getting rid of all your weak hairs. If not, no harm done, just lost money on it (and it sucks that it doesnt help).

It was stable for for ehm well from about januari to november, then I started with the minoxidil as u know...I think with a bit luck youll end up just like me, your hair getting nice and thick, and no more real noticable thinning. Your hairline is nice I think, some receiding looks good, gives a 'sharp' look (dunno how to say in English)...wait it out man.

If you're going to add minoxidil then be prepared for more sheds and atleast 6 months (average time) before you see any results.

Its far more easier to know if finasteride is working if you wait for another 6 months. If you start minoxidil now u won;t know if finasteride has started working as some new hairs that u are to possibly gain in the coming months will shed due to minoxidil
