This might even cause some regrowth. Once you know your hairloss is not gonna get worse, and you are not gonna suffer major side effects you can actually get a serious hair transplant with peace of mind. It's the close to a cure in my book

nice !
Really curious to see the sides that it can cause. Especially if it is safe to use it if we have sides with finasteride.

Even better for those on finasteride. You have 2 treatments with a synergistic effect. If this goes to market then I would start using this and might as well do rogaine while I'm at it. You would have a new "big 3" that would kick hair loss in the ***.

Do we know for sure that this new treatment would be synergistic with Finasteride?

I don't think finasteride will be necessary with an AR antagonist. From my understanding finasteride prevents conversion of testosterone to DHT by inhibiting 5alpha reductase, while this AR antagonist blocks DHT from binding to the androgen receptor.

If anything would have a synergistic effect with an AR antagonist, it would probably be something that targets the Wnt/B catenin pathway

Does anyone now if it is a global AR antagonist? How do they want to isolate the AR on the scalp? Topicals easily turn systemic. I’m sure a DHT inhibitor is safer than accidentally shutting off your AR on your beard, brain, penis, balls and muscles. Sounds like the ultimate transgender drug.
It was described as a local one, of course, not global.
The trials will tell us how is it going for the sides...

It's an antagonist but it still has to compete with dht as dht has a high binding affinity.
