I've just given up minoxidil kirkland 5% type after 10months of nothing but hell. No results just increase in loss. Just wondering if it is even worth me trying the foam.

If anyone has had no success on ththe liquid but some on foam pls let me know.

Yeah mate I 've been on proscar or procepia ( whaterver the one is you cut in quarters) for longer then I was on minoxdil - over 12 months. Just stopped that as well seeing as my ahir is going so badly. It is not maintaining.

So I've switched over to dutas this week and got rid of my kirkland liquid stuff.

When you say you switched over - were you seeing any results before the switch to the foam? As I've seen nothing at all except it get worse and worse and and thinking of giving the foam a last ditch go before I give up minoxidil forever. Also where is the best/cheapest place to get it in australia.

i saw tiny bit of reversal of miniaturisation with the liquid ,a few stronger hairs here n there......really nothing to get too excited about

i only saw a tiny shed with the liquid and tiny results, the foam shed was massive and its been 8 months now and things are looking good, the foam is much better.

dunno bout cheapest place for foam to australia ,they sell it on here though....hairlosstalk.com i mean,in their store

or try ebay as im told they do good deals

This is what i'm worrried about - you had a tiny shed and at least some result - small as it was. I on the other hand have had just constant rapdily increasing loss with no positive effects, now dont get me wrong i'm not minoxidil bashing but just saying it has definitely done nothing positive for me.

However you've given me some hope, hopefully for some reason this will be more effective for me.

Thanks for all your help.

no worries :)

i would say that if you use nizoral 2%,dutas and the foam you will have better results

some people respond better to dutasteride so the liquid minoxidil in your situation could well be similar to mine ,so add the foam and you could well see good results

good luck :)
