L-Argnine question

On all the bottles I buy for L-Arginine it says to take one capsule in morning and one at night for a total of 1g. I take more then that because i see everyone on this forum taking 2g to 3g. Is it really necessary and proven to be that much better then taking more then the recommended dose?

People take more in an attempt to release Nitric Oxide (NO). This releases Human Growth Hormones. From everything i've seen HGH has not been proven to stop hair loss, or cause regrowth.

Dr. Lee stated that in an email to someone recently.

I take 500mg every morning cause i have it. If you do want to release HGH there's a cheaper method. If you buy Arginine Pyroglutamate/Lysine it is supposed to be 10 times more effective at releasing NO than arginine, and less toxic (since you need to take much less) (1.5g of Each). HGH is supposed to make you stay younger theoretically.

It is not necessary to take L-Arginine.

It is proven to be dose dependent.


If you are young you will not necessary need it as a GH releaser as your body will be producing all the GH it needs (unless you are a body builder).
