Lack of new success stories

Does anyone else have success stories to share?
It seems that there are never any new stories. They are all months to years old.

yeah I have noticed a drop ... im on finasteride about 7 wks now things are looking good. Hair looks better, got asked did i dye my hair last wk which i took as a comliment as it looks a bit darker ... it had gone really light brown.. I have taken pics but Im gonna wait 3 months before i post any before n after pics.

A few new treads always makes me smile with hope ............

Seems like less new people trying these products or just not posting pics. I haven't posted any pics of mine..hairline seems to have stabilized and I've had some general thickening but the way my hair is (kinda curly) it has a lot of volume so pictures are deceiving.....in bright lights up close you could see through it in april but after finasteride for 9 months and 2 months of minoxidil you can't anymore. Still not as thick as it used to be and wishing the hairline would recover all the way I'd be a NW1.

The problem with success stories is
1. Success people move on from forums
2. Success people get attacked with negativity too often

Yep, I for one had a (minor, but still a) succes on the hairline with finasteride alone yet I only recieved one comment. And supposedly I was 'doomed' because the hairloss was too agressive. People don't really bother with succes stories, they'd rather indulge in negativity here.

Or how about: "pics or it didn't happen!"

And when the guy DOES show pics, everyone complains they are insufficient. Cassin is right, most with success have moved on. If I found a winning combo, I would share it with the group then be gone like a fart in the wind.

i must admit, i have made a negative comment or two around here in the success forum but only with the best intentions. honestly, pictures lie and when the results arent obvious, I just state that I dont see a difference and ask the poster to take better pictures.

i look a the thread count for this forum and it has been stuck at 462 forever. now 464 though

I agree with the perspective of negativity as well. Everyone seems to think that all people come here to lie. and no one is ever telling or showing the truth.

I give props to everyone who comes here to share a story or pictures.

Well I've taken revealing pics of my hairline from when I started my regimen of minoxidil. nizoral and Tricomin, but I'm waiting until the 48wk (June 2011) mark to take new pictures and post them on this forum. By then the full effect of my regimen should be realised and myself and others can make a better judgement.

However I'm sure when I do post pics of my progress, the negative types on this forum will still be like "why aren't you on finasteride? you won't maintain your hair unless you're on finasteride blah blah blah". Even though the whole purpose of my regimen/experiment is to test the effectiveness of a finasteride/dutasteride-free regimen.
