Large Cowlick Or Showing Signs Of Balding

So I've always had pretty thin hair and extremely Curly as well. Cheap buzzers can't shave my hair and even good ones I have to go over my hair every which way with. I'm wondering if this picture is just showing a large area of skin because my hair grows in many different directions or its beginning signs of pattern baldness. You thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

How old are you?
If you are in your late 20s or 30s I would not worry. It is probably a minor thinning.
