What up Felllas,

My laser comb has arrived and I plan on starting the treatment tomorrow. From what I have been reading, it sounds like its something that can put me through the next level in hair texture and thickness, we will see.

Also, latelly I have been experiencing a huge amount of scalp pain. Nothing like ever before, almost like a stinging sensation. Its a mild burn that is pissing me off. Im not sure what is going on, my scap isnt red, i dont have any huge bumps or marks along the scalp. This sensation is just plain out weird!!! Its not an itch...

Not sure what is going on, but any advise will be greattttly appreciated!

Thanks,
Tony

It's kind of wierd you said that... Not now but last week I had a scalp pain unlike anything I'd felt before. It was like a mild burn or burn-like sensation all throughout the top of my scalp, at times it was downright painful. I noticed I got it after using T/Gel Menthol but it lasted like 3 days after I used it. I stopped shampooing for 3 days and just used conditioner and it slowly subsided. I'm not sure if we're experiencing the same thing, but when I read your post it sounds like the same thing. It wasnt an itch or inflammation, was like this mild-moderate burning sensation (I had my mom check my scalp and it wasnt red, either)

Assuming we have the same problem... try cutting back on shampoo for two days and just condition your hair. Good luck tony.

BTW, I got a LC too, should be arriving tomarrow :D

Nice kiddddo!!! I will keep you posted on the LC and hopefull we can bounce feedback of eachother.

Any who, what you describe sounds just like what I'm going through to the "T"!!! I'm going to cut down on the shampoo and use only the conditioner and see what happens. This burning sensation just sucks ***!!! A year into Propecia and never felt this...

Aight Main!
OUT!!!

I had the same sh*t. Burning sensations and that kind of 'icy' hot feeling you get with muscle rub or menthol shampoos.

I now only wash my hair with shampoo twice a week and it I dont get it anymore. Also my hair looks thicker and is more manageable.

Whe i wash with nizoral my hair goes dry and thin and looks like sh*t for two days. I seriously think that daily washing of hair is not good for its condition or 'look', especially when nizoral is being used 2-3 times a week as well.

I too have also ordered the lasercomb, I have spoken to several people who have used it and pretty much everyone has had some thickening and cosmetic improvement.

The people that say it doesn't work very well, often seem to be guys that are NW4+ that haved bought expecting it to fill their crown in and recover an inch of hairline.

Hopefully though for guys in the early stages of male pattern baldness, it could be very useful in thickening hairlines/temples and providing that boost to their regimen, that will make a difference.

Anyway, I know its $650 dollars, but f*** it, i will try it for a good 6 months or whatever, and if it doesnt work i'll flog it on ebay.

It's a small price to pay if it thickens my hairline and temples.

Bring it on lasercomb biatches and thicken-up my fuckin locks.

Keep me updated on your progress as we are starting at roughly the same time.

You Hairmax w****s.

Ix,

If you think about the amount of snake oils and other treatments out there, one can easily spend 600+ dollars on things that don't have any sort of 'scientific' backing to it. LC may be expensive, but its a one time buy, plus there has been plenty of testing done on it and its going through FDA trials for hair regrowth. I'm trying to improve my hair and if this is going to help only time will tell, but if it does then it will be money well spent. Plus 3 months of usage and if I dont like it I get my money back!

a question for you guys who are using minoxidil!!!

you guys are saying that due to whatever scalp problems you have, you are only going to wash your hair 3 times a week....now would that be beneficial since you are applying minoxidil?

i know that when i apply minixidil, my scalp looks like sh*t!!! ..so how would you "wash" your scalp to make it clean for the next application of minoxidil?

just curious to see how you guys would wash your hair and still use the minoxidil!!
thanks

its easy man.

Dr Dickie Lee's magic formula.

Quick drying minoxidil that leaves nay, i say nay residue.

drys in about 5 minutes on my barnet.

I see you use the Rogaine, its a rip-off and is not dis-simliar to putting custard on your head.

Have a look at his website http://www.xandrox.com.

It looks like ol' Doctor Lee designed it blindfolded with his feet but that's not the point....

Order product 500 and your on your way to a non-greasy scalp.

Choose your minoxidil wisely my son.

Same reason you spend a large portion of your time on this site.

I know someone who uses the lasercomb and he has defintely improved the frontal thickness of his hair along the hairline and temples.

I'm gonna try it becuase it may work and i will love it.

I'd rather do that than see my hair get worse and regret not trying it.

f*** it I'm a Hairmax biatch wh***.

Yeah i can vouch for the laser comb improves your temples for sure. Well for me anyway. I was looking at some pictures of me before i was using the LC and now my temples are almost completely back. Just need a bit more thickening in some spots. I must say though i haven't really got any thickening any where else on my scalp, but i was only using the LC and nothing else. I've been using it for almost 6 months.

That's the kind of sh*t I wants to here!

I'm looking forward to running the stupid fuckin comb through hair now!

Good work stax!

I might start using it on my *** hair - see if i can grow it so long i can backcomb it over my thin patches on my head.

hey, i too just got the LC.
been using it for about a week - no results yet obviously.

i think we should create an LC users thread or something and document each of our progresses (is that a word?) for the benefit of the rest of HairLossTalk.com members.

good luck gang, lets hope it works as well as they say.[/code]

Guys just to let you know you get up to 5 months for the money back guarantee. After 3 months, you can call them and extend the guarantee for 2 additional months. I did this today, although I do not plan on returning it at all. I love the damn thing and it has helped me out alot. Have fun lasering up your hair it's a great time!

Now as a fellow LC user I am very much interested in staying in the loop about your progress. Eeeesh! I know that if I had known about the LC before alot of my major hairloss had started I could have stopped my hairloss and I'd definitely have more hair. Oh well, at least the LC has stopped all of my hairloss. Keep me in the loop folks as I'm curious how the LC works for folks with less advanced hairloss.
