Left temple going goodbye - is this receding or a weird hairline (I think the former)

Not sure whether university caused it, genetics, or both - my dad says his life of steroid treatments caused his hairloss but now I am doubting the truth of that.

Anyone got advice about whether this is receding (pretty sure it is as you can see short hairs where my hairline used to be), and what I can do. At the ripe old age of 22, this is gutting. Those who have it worse than me, I can't imagine what you're going through.

What are you using to treat the hairloss? You seen a dermatologist? You can save the hair and possibly grow some back I did it scroll down my thread.
