I know how you feel. I was positive it wasn’t there before but I tried to convince myself it had always been like that. I did a lot of googling around the time I noticed it and it’s pretty common. Either Anterolateral leg alopecia or others claiming its traction hair loss. In our case it’s 100% finasteride. Like I said, mine has grown back but I quit finasteride. Keep an eye on yours. If it doesn’t grow back in 6 months perhaps finasteride has somehow caused Anterolateral leg alopecia. It massively alters out hormones so anything’s possible with finasteride.@Jeju Mines not exactly patches but just less hair on one side of my legs (shin bone is the divider). I was about to convince myself that it's always been this way but now I'm doubting again. I wish I would I would have just took a picture before so I'd know for sure.
You might try increasing the dosage or dutasteride. Estrogen works even better, lol. My issue is oral minoxidil grows hair everywhere so I have to pay the piper and opt for more laser removal which is painful but I recommend. It's really, really painful on the face but the body isn't too bad. I have a session tomorrow.damn I actually wish finasteride would give me less body hair as a side effect (the only side effect I actually want) because I'm so hairy everywhere.
why did you quit btw?I noticed my arm and leg hair was thinner but I heard this was normal because of the reduction in DHT. This didn’t bother me whatsoever and returned to normal once I quit finasteride.
I dunno if I have this, but it makes sense. Body hair responds positively to DHT. Hence, if you limit it with a 5ar inhibitor-- it could to be negatively effectedNot to get weird, but did any of you have thinning or loss of pubic hair? Once again, I can't tell for sure but leaning toward that I have lost some.
