i've been off finasteride for 3 weeks now and just masturbated twice i noticed my ejaculate is not its used to be like it should shoot itself, instead it oozes out in a flowing manner. i dont know what seems to be the problem. has anyone experience this? will this improve over time?

semen quality has improved so far from watery to normal thick white.

Finasteride atrophies and decimates prostate function and associated seminal vesicles. That is what the drug is designed to do. Hair growth is a side effect of DHT inhibition.

The explanation for the problem is, you took Finasteride and chemically castrated your prostate and associated sexual function tissues through androgen deprivation, thereby reducing ejaculate volume and force.

Yes, I experienced it as well, within 3 days of starting drug which I took for 11 months. Took many months to years after quitting to improve, but still not to pre-Finasteride force or volume.

thanks mew. some bad news there. i took finasteride for just 7 days and it already damaged my prostate. really regret it. hope i can recover from this.

The prostate shrinks over time... I recommend that you do kegel exercises regularly for a while. According to the description of prostate fluid, your DHT level should be fine. Finasteride decreases the free testosterone level, and DHT increases muscle strength - so your symptom may be caused by weakened penile muscles. Those muscles controls erections, and the ejaculation force.
