Let's get real here about minoxidil shedds

I was using 2% minoxidil for over a year and I didn't shedd much. Recently I upgraded to a 5% no PPG minoxidil and in a week I started shedding like crazy. I rubed my hair for a few seconds then took a sheet of paper and shook my head over it and the paper was completely full of hair.

Now I know minoxidil shedd is common and everything but how many of you regrew the hair you shedd and saw thickening? I mean my frontal region was thin to begin with but now the full pattern all over can be seen especialy since I'm buzzed to 1/4 inch.

I'm very sceptical about this regrowing thing since I would need to regrow a huge number of hair now and I never had such experience before with the treatments.

iv been on kirkland minoxidil 5% for 6 days now. so aint noticed anything atall. can u shed as early as a week?

when do most people start noticing something occuring?

I started shedding after about 2 weeks.

I started on May 30th this year and I started shedding arnd 10th of this month...so after about 11-12 days. Problem is I havent stopped shedding yet. How long is this shed expected to go on ?

My head iches a bit. Whenever I scratch my head I gently pull on the hair and always come out with 2-3 hairs. This sucks, I'm completely diffused all over the top now, buzzed down to 1/4 inch and it really shows the NW5 pattern.

sounds like me. you gotta pic you could show mate? mines in the story section, i posted yesterday. it doesnt make it look as bad as it really is. i got it all over the crown and top of head all thinning.

been on propecia and minoxidil for 6 days.

I've been on generic minoxidil for almost 3 months now, is there a shed I should be expecting?
