Hey all,
I see many people tout scalp exfoliations or peels as really crucial to making the scalp healthier, reducing sebum, dht, dead cells, etc etc..

I began really aggressively massaging my scalp about 3 months ago, and immediately really noticed the increased skin thickness where I had the worst hair. after some heavy kneading, I began to peel/flake dead skin almost like a sunburn would, and to a lesser extent still am.

I still feel like there's still some extra thickness, and some surface insensitivity to the scalp.. like it has a veneer of some hard skin, but of a very thin layer for lack of better way to describe.

Im reading about polysorbate 80, salycic acid, and other things that do some of these things, but don't want to fry my already dry and somewhat brittle hair.

Does anyone incorporate scalp exfoliation?? And if so, what are the results, and how do you go about it?
