does anybody know why drugs such as saw palmetto and propecia causes low libidos and makes you impotent? And are there any treatments that can increase your drive, other than v****.

I've heard good things about Megaman Multivitamins for libido and l-arginine for erectile dysfunction.
I haven't been able to try either of these, unfortunately....
It's hard to find such product in Korea, especially l-arginine.

Actually L arginine works quite well for both libido and erections. 2000 mg/day gives awesome results for me.

And you can order l arginine or anything else for that matter on the net.

Is that why you are not starting propecia?

needsomehelp...i take citrulline malate as a supplement for my workouts but it definately helps out with libido...its a precursor to arginine so its to be expected...its better than taking arginine straight too

there is no doubt in my mind about its potency...its like im 17 or 18 again

Actually i was on it for like 1 month. I started experiencing less of a desire for sex so i came off of it. Whats the point of keeping your hair if you cant get your jimmy up to reap the fruits of your labor? But anyways since i came off I still have desire but it is less than before. So def it has brought down my libido somewhat. Anyone know of sides with L-Arginine?

you weren't on Propecia long enough. Chances are your "drive" would have come back had you given your system a chance to balance out. How long ago did you stop taking Propecia?

I've had no side effects from l arginine and I've used it for 5 or 6 months.. It may even be good for the hair as well as fitness. I buy my from GNC but you can probably find it in any health store that sells vitamins plus there's tons of places that sell it on the net.

Oh yea, it costs me about $10/month to take 2000 mg/day. 1000 mg/day would probably do the trick.

good stuff. how exactly does it help with hair, fitness, libido etc, is it a hormone altering drug? if not, how does it bring changes in the body? just looking for some science before i make a decision to pop any or not. can it interfere with propecia?

finally, a big concern...anyone ever gone on l-arginine then off for a substantial period of time? can one become reliant on it?

thanks.

I'm no expert on it, but here's all I know

L -arginine is a natural amino acid found in beef and poultry.

It works buy triggering the release of nitric oxide in the bloodstream. NO is very good for sexual function. Some athletes and body builders take high levels of l arginine and it may only be at these high levels that a increase in muscle size or strength may occur.

NO is also believed to have a benefit for the hair, don't know how.

bad hair i stopped taking it about 2 months ago. While i was on it i was also on Saw palmetto i think that did the trick in terms of less libido. So what a good recommended dosage of L-arginine?

After nearly 3 months I'm finally starting to gain my sexual drive back! Tonight I was watching a movie with allot of sexuality and hot naked b****s and got an erection everytime. It's nice to see my little man back in action again. It just shows that the body can take a while before it adjusts and that side-effects can subside.
