Likely taking the finasteride plunge soon....

Just wanting to know what kind of things I should be looking for in terms of common sides? Tender breasts and low libido seem to be most common. Anything else?

I was planning to get Proscar at my pharmacy, but is there a cheaper way to get that is reliable? Also, does anyone happen to know how much a supply of Proscar will cost me? I know I'll be splitting it up into fourths, so it'll be cost effective.

Also, I'm not entirely convinced I have male pattern baldness, but fine hair does some to be a bit thinner on the sides, so I want to do something for it. My derma wrote the script after looking at me, but his opinion of my hair conflicts with what other people, including myself have said based on my pics.

My doctor and dermatologist both said they have patients taking it and they have no probs. I just hope it stops this side thinning crap I have going on here.

Something interesting to me is that I had some shedding or something going on, and around that time my libido was significantly lower. I haven't had shedding problems for a while now, and in the last 2-3 weeks my libido is back to normal. I haven't been taking ANYTHING new this entire time.

right...its the internet. This is where people who flock to with problems or concerns. People who do well on finasteride and go to a doctor for a prescription have no need to make accounts on forums.
