Overusing keto shampoo can dry out your hair and irritate your scalp. It is best to use it no more than three times a week. A good alternative shampoo is one that contains Piroctone Olamine, which was shown in a study to be beneficial as a treatment for male pattern baldness. The most that any shampoo can do is slow down your hair loss a little though. No shampoo on its own will be able to put a halt to male pattern baldness.

Your hair is thinning it has nothing to do with ketoconazole, it minimises it a bit but it can only do so much it's a shampoo.

It does have some research backing from a few (questionable) studies, but it is not going to stop male pattern baldness on its own. At the very most, it might slow it down a little. It is a very weak treatment, but for those who refuse to use finasteride, I guess that keto shampoo is better than nothing.
