With as much hype as this foam gets, has anyone else felt like maybe they were getting better regrowth with the liquid?

I was wondering the same thing. I started the liquid again at night only 2 days ago and am continuing with the foam in the morning.
My scalp is slightly irritated again as I am also adding folligen.

folligen irritates me too.

foam is better only because you can be more consistent. But if actually are consistent, you can put a lot of liquid on your head for the same price and get better results.

i was getting a better response two years ago with liquid.

is that because of the timeframe.. or cause liquid works better than foam for me?

I too feel I was getting better results with liquid.

But the foam is so easy and quik I just can't go back to the messy sticky liquid that leaves my shaved head shiny and greasy.

As for folligen i'm not sure but since adding Tricomin i've had a severe dry scalp.

I'm thinking it will pay to have a little of both around. I'll use the liquid most of the time. This should save at least money. I think a large portion of the foam just ends up in my hair and not in my roots. I've been on minoxidil for over a year and it seems both times I noticed regrowth, I switched to foam shortly after and my vellous hairs just never came in. I think they actually looked thicker when I was on the liquid. That settles it. I'm getting liquid next. Thanks everyone for your replies.

I've been using minoxidil liquid for 3 mths and now into the 4th mth. anyway, i have one question, read some posts and just wonder whether is it true if i applied minoxidil and sweat one hour later, it will reduce the effectiveness of the minoxidil applied? anybody heard of this...

Liquid leaves a rash of spots on the front of my head, and inflames my scalp, so it's not really an option for me. Foam has not given me this problem.

I have used Liquid for 3 years and it gave me great results, have been on foam for about a month and a half now (sometimes rotating with the liquid at night). When I started foam I shed for the fist 2 weeks so I am hoping this is a sign it is working better.

y dont you use liquid for half of the head and foam for the other half then decide which is better instead of wondering if you should have stuck with on and not the other.

The effects of minoxidil have been proven to spread through the skin.

Hence people get big eyebrows, even though they don't put minoxidil near their eyes.

At least, I hope they don't

I wonder how liquid and foam can have different effects if it's the SAME MINOXIDIL?? And why liquid would be better or otherwise? It's just the difference in how you apply it and how your skin reacts to other ingredients, isn't that it?
