It's called Crop Circling. Very common in corn fields.

That is called Alopecia areata I think, it's a autoimmune disease, you should talk to a doctor

It also sounds a little like ringworm, although I don't know if you can get that on your scalp.

ringworm sounds the most likely answer and yes you can get it on the scalp.

I acutally have that on my hairline. It started thinning, but circular indents happened where all hairs just dissappeared. Two little indents on right side and one on left. Unfortunenatley, the rest of my hairline caught up and the circles are gone. I miss my circles, or at least the hair around them.

had a mate who had that and was diagnosed as stress/nutrition induced hairloss. totally filled back in after a few months. get blood tests and a diagnosis from a specialist.
