I want to ask if it is normal to shed more than a month when I use Rogaine foam 5%?
Last year, I tried Rogaine foam for 2 weeks, and it was a crazy shed. So I stopped because of being scared. I also tried Propecia for a month but experienced some sexual side effect so I had to stop that as well. Then until this year, my hair loss had been gradually increase. I got back onto Rogaine again in mid March 2012 hoping to gain back some hair this time. It has been 5+ weeks since the first day I used Rogaine Foam again and I've been shedding from day 1 and every day when I wash my hair. I haven't seen any growth at all in hair but rather more thinning, now my scalp is showing more visibly as compared to just 1 month ago before I used Rogaine. Should I stop and save what I'm having or should I keep going and risk what I have now?
My current regimen is: Rogaine Foam 5% once a day before bed at night. Nizoral shampoo 2-3 times a week. Head & Shouder shampoo 2-3 times a week.
