I know topical finasteride isn't well looked upon due to its much lower success rate, but due to some pretty shite sides whilst taking oral it seems to be my only option.
Anyways, I'm about 2 months into using Morr F Topical finasteride 0.01%, have had a pretty bad shed, which hasn't ceased yet. My left temple is looking exceptionally sparse and has receded a considerable amount since starting topical finasteride.
I should mention that the left side of my hair is much sparser in general and seems to be mostly weak brittle hair, while the right side of my hair is full of thick, strong hair. This has been the case for the last few years and isn't from any treatment.
Of course being around the forums a fair bit you see all the horror stories of people's hairlines being ruined from finasteride, and from what it seems the people who's hairlines take a battering and recede when taking finasteride seldom recover. Is that the case?
Was hoping for a little advice and/or guidance on this. Should I chuck the topical finasteride and just use min?
Thanks
