Hi, I think that the site is excellent - keep up the good work!

I started losing my hair about 6 years or so ago and it’s been a gradual process so far (thank heavens!)

When I first started receding, I panicked - I started collecting info about every hair loss product that I could find - at this time propecia was just being announced but it would be a good few years before it would be licensed for use here in the UK.

The only thing really available to me was regaine / rogaine, which I started using intermittently. I have not used it for more than 6 months at a time though and usually I got annoyed with the hassle of applying it twice daily and fearing missing an application.

I’ve decided that I now need to take action, and so in the new year I am going to start a proper regime, with topical applications because I’m not too keen on taking pills at this stage.

I’ve read through a lot of the info and posts on this site and was thinking of using the following:-

nizoral shampoo - seems that everyone thinks that this is excellent, so I will definitely start using this

folligen - Again, a lot of good recommendations so I think I might try this as well

tricomen - This seems to be very similar to folligen?

revivogen - Sounds promising and at least worth a try

I have some questions and would be grateful for any answers:-

Does anyone buy revivogen who lives in the UK and could recommend a good site to get it from?

I have heard that spironolactone is good, but I don’t think that Dr Lee ships to the UK - is there anything similar that is available form a UK site?

The lasercomb gets a lot of criticism from posters from here, but Clinical trials so far have been positive and this site gives it a 4 * rating. Can anyone say whether they have any positive results from using it, perhaps starting a thread in the treatments section?

One thing I’ve noticed since my hair started receding is that by scalp and hair get really greasy. This seems to be something to do with the DHT, androgens and stuff kicking off with my poor hair follicles?

I’m not sure if I should put questions here, but thanks for any responses

Last of all, Merry Christmas everyone :D
