Losing hair at the temples

Okay, so I started losing my hair at the temples a year ago(I started losing it at 20 and now I'm 21). I decided to take some action and take Propecia 2 months ago. Well its been two months and my hair is a lot more thinner at my temples then when I started 2 months ago. I'm still thinning at my temples and lose about 20 to 40 hairs in the shower. Should I give up on Propecia since they don't really advertise that it saves the temple hairs or should I stick with it? I mean if its making me shed those hairs then and it probably won't grow them back then I should just let nature take its course and let it fall out alone. My hair has started to fall out a lot faster with Propecia then when I wasn't taking it. It may be a shed but whose to say that it will grow back? What should I do?

you kidding me right?!?! 2 months! Dude I've been on finasteride for 6 months and I'm not sure if htings are imporving. I think it has slowed down my temple loss but you need to give it way more than 2 months.

generally you will start to see some improvement after SIX freaking months.

You shouldn't be expecting sh*t after only months.

Umm I never stated in my post that I was expecting great things right away. I just said that I'm losing hair faster on Propecia then when I wasn't on it. Thats all.

I think that's normal. You shed first, sometimes several sheds before it starts working. I would say give it at least 6-12 months before you go off of it.

you get results after 1 year...

but in the second year, you get back to baseline...

propecia is like a new girlfriend.. first its all fine, then you are fucked up...

the propecia charts tell a different story. your hair count peaks at 1 year but you maintain what you gained the 2nd year then you slowly start to lose hair count not go below baseline just lose hair that was gained from propecia. if you look that the chart though at 5 years 90 percent were either above baseline still or at baseline.

Read what I said in the other post.

Propecia claims that the drug works in the crown. For me it worked great in the crown. But not in the temples.

Again, Propecia claims that the drug works on the crown.

That means, that I fit the chart.

The thread title refers to the TEMPLES...

This is why i dont spend much time in forums.. people can't read.
