Just throwing it out there in theory. If you think you may have a low testosterone level to begin with (i am mid-twenties and have like 6 chest hairs!)

Could the 10% testosterone increase taking propecia gives actually help someone in that situation?

I am in early stages of diffuse. It only came to my attention within the last 8 or 9 months and has been an obsession ever since. I just can't get over the hump to get on finasteride. It's not the meds themselves (i think to be concerned over taking it is wrong, because their are drugs being tossed around like candy to anyone and everyone that mess with just as much crap in your body - think depression meds, a.d.d stuff, etc)

I don't want to go to the doctor. but i don't mind spending the money to get the right stuff. there are so many names tossed around and places to get it i have no clue what EXACTLY i should take or from where?

I dont know about the testosterone thingy, but i am preety sure you should start propecia NOW. I ve been obsessed with hair loss for the last 2 years, but i was convinced by friends that my hair is ok just a little thin(and that was the actual situation) and i should not start taking pills since i was so young. Well, now i ve lost so much density that i think i wont recover! I am so stupid to listen to them!

I'm going to stat taking Finpecia when it arrives(cheaper version) and just take a half pill 0.5mg to start. If there are sides then stop, if it works well them maybe up it.

you can always take one of the Saw Palmetto type ones but they are very mild and didn't work for me.

Most guys on here seem to really push to go on Propecia and seems to work for most with little sides. Hope we are the lucky ones too..lots of results and no sides. Seems the way to go if we want to get something really done about this.
