I just came across this intriguing comment on a YouTube video about hair transplants:
There is, it's called magnesium oil, along with supplementing ~1 gram/day of Mg (non-oxide versions). Hair loss is due to calcification. DHT is only a symptom due to calcified scalp tissue trapping serum DHT in the scalp. Magnesium dissolves the calcified scalp tissue, freeing the DHT. Too much acidic food, coupled with a deficiency in magnesium, leads to calcium being leeched from bones, and building up in the scalp. Cures would equal an end to the hair loss industry. It's not in the financial interest of the medical industry to seek cures, and it never will be.
Any thoughts on this? I have no idea what he's talking about.
