HI Guys! It's been a while since my last post.
I am on finasteride for something like 10 years now and on minoxidil 5% for 14 months. I also use nizoral 3 times/week.
My hair has been maintained on finasteride but when the crown started to show i started minoxidil. This grew me back lots of nicer and slightly thicker hair. Since two months ago however, a shedding has started which won't stop. Is this to be expected?
I must confess it's 3-4 months since i've lowered my finasteride dose from 1,25mg/day to 1mg five days a week and around same time i dropped the minoxidil application from twice to once a day.
Plus my hair is longer now and i drink larger quantities of milk (maybe that's irrelevant but these are all the changes i've made).
Any ideas why i'm shedding? I really decided to write here cause i couldn't give it more time to stop. I even went to the hairdresser today for a haircut..
