Making fun of bald guy in a bolywood movie at a marriage scene to her bride.

Today i was in my uncle's home and watching 'Holiday' Movie 2014, i was so embarssed to see this scene.

When actress enters and first time she looked at him,the band music goes off like someone's embarassed, then she becomes unhappy about bride who is her friend that she used to be runner up in Fashion shows, then why are you marrying this man that is not good looking.
You were keeping pics of stars like tom cruise in you room, then don't marry this man.

I was so down watching this,it was hurting, embarrassing.

But the girl who is bride says the man who is good looking is not mostly well responsible or good,if you get that person who is beautiful and responsible,,marry him
and let me marry that person(who is shown as a bald as in this pic).

BS advice according to the caption but the crowd may buy it, after all his hair looks great. Older too. At one point he is gripping his hair hard, almost saying look it's so strong you can't rip it off.

I don't think I have neg repped anyone. But I wanna neg rep you ... the lyrics are from Don Henley. His original version of Boys of Summer is so much better than DJ Sammys. :p

Aw captain forehead :) if it's any consolation I love that version too as I'm a big 80s fan. But something about the modern one with a women's voice :p

ha, rest assured that hollywood/bollywood is all about vanity. it's about the archetype of beauty personified, or the ideal what constitutes it. You aren't going to find actors who even look like that in real life. Hell, even the actors themselves admit to that. Take away the lighting, digital enhancement, make up, foundation, and stunt doubles, and you've got yourself the end result. (Shah rukh khan's hair is the GOAT though. perhaps a NW1 at his age is remarkable.)

I first heard the DJ Sammy version, became a fan. Many years later, I heard the original version and was blown away. The kid playing on the drums, such powerful imagery. The DJ Sammy version is a dance song. The Don Henley version makes you feel.

Henley's always been one hell of drummer. Hotel California showcases his craft w/o question.

Not to seem racist nor stereotypical, but what is it with certain people from India using urine for so many things? Is it related to culture and/or for something related to religious purposes?

Anyhow, urine won't do anything to treat genetic baldness, let alone curing it.

How are you Agustin? Your question prompted me to forward you this lengthy perspective purely for your own entertainment purposes. You might find it fascinating. I did. -)http://www.vanderbilt.edu/AnS/psychology/health_psychology/Urine_Therapy.htm

My first version was Don Henley. I never even grew up in the 80s's barely born then. But yeah, that version is great, it has more soul as you say. I am listening to it now back home if it makes you feel better haha. It's faster and more dreamy, I get that thick long hair feeling. But DJ Sammy, I like many of her tracks and her voice has that "euro feel" especially since I love dance music too. So basically, the version I like depends on my mood! If I am drunk and in a club, I would like the sammy version maybe, getting naughty with my gf...

It is certainly true in Hollywood, but I think Bollywood is more open in that it does not have a problem differentiating between the movie characters, and the people who play them. Take this dude for instance who was the star in a recent big budget robot movie:

Movie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enthiran

This is how he appears in the movie: http://blog.endhiran.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/endhiran-movie-gallery-20.jpg

In movies he wears wigs with female coleads half his age, but in public appearances he goes Larry David style and looks like an average Joe on the street.
