The first time I noticed (or believed) my hair was thinning/receding was my senior year of high school when I was 18. Somebody brought up the fact that I had a widows peak and I took it to heart, and have ever since been paranoid about balding. I've also been told my hair might just be maturing, and that guys go through this sometimes, but now that I'm 19 and almost 20, I am afraid of going bald in time for what I hoped would be my physical prime. I've always had fine, light hair and only one man in my family has gone bald and that is my fathers father. It keeps me up at night sometimes. Some days I think it looks fine and I can live with it, other days I just consider shaving it all off again. Normally, I wear really long on top and short on the sides, so basically an undercut, but recently I shaved it off because I got frustrated looking in the mirror. I already have low self-esteem as it is, but my hair has always helped me with that.
f***. Anyways, have a look at these pictures and tell me what you think, and what I am on the Norwood scale.
Also, another note, I've heard that certain ethnicities are more prone to going bald (I'm Swedish). Is that true?
