Maturing hairline?

I'm 23, and I've been concerned about my hairline recently. From looking at old pictures, it doesn't look like my hairline has changed noticeably since I was 20. However, it looks like I had more hair on the corners of my head when I was about 18. It's hard to tell since I style my hair differently now than I did back then. Can I get an opinion on my hair? Am I seeing the first signs of male pattern baldness, a maturing hairline, or something else? Also, what are the early signs of male pattern baldness? I definitely have thick hair (barbers typically tell me that), and I don't see any thinning around my vertex. I've got some pictures here from today (I got a haircut a little while ago as you can see from the bits of hair on my forehead) and some more pictures from a few days ago when my hair was a little longer:

How can you tell? What signs are you looking for?

My dad is about an NW4, and my grandfathers are probably an NW2 and NW4.

NW1 on the left side, NW2 on the right side. Nobody's perfectly symmetrical.

Wrinkle your forehead. What's the distance between the highest crest and your hairline?

It's hard to find the highest wrinkle. I'd guess it's about a centimeter from my hairline on my left side, but that makes no sense since I can't ever remember having hair down that low on my forehead. I can't even find pictures with my hairline that low. I'm almost 100% certain that the center of my hairline hasn't moved. If you look at it, there's a little notch where my hairline pulls back significantly. I've had that little notch since I was a kid, and it doesn't appear to have changed at all.

maturing hairline aka slow balding is a myth. start on finasteride NOW. dont be the NW6 guy who has to wear a hairpiece.

I can tell because you've lost all your sides and its recessed quite farrrrr.
I wouldn't risk it.

It's like my hair, I've lost my sides, its going. Honest.

I'm not being sarcastic friend.
From looking at your pictures, you can tell something is off, your temple areas have gone: NW2 status.
Looks exactly like male pattern baldness. Exact same situation as me.

That is NW2, perfect example, you see?
I couldn't imagine you will stop recessing. I would get on Propecia before you risk not being able to restore some of your hair.

Also I think you're loosing hair at the front, because your hairline is slightly jagged, I think that is also male pattern baldness.

I know about the jaggedness. I mentioned that it had been there since I was a kid. I've looked at pictures from 5 years ago, and the front looks no different. My forehead appears to be the exact same size. I believe I did have more of the temple areas 5+ years ago, but it doesn't look like they've changed in the past 4 years.

Maybe you are just slowly going to go bald.
I just can't believe that is a mature hair line  because it looks like you are practically going bald from the amount you've lost on the sides.
Maybe you'll be a NW3 in like 5 years...

It's like one side of forehead is NW3 status and the other is NW2 status. Bahhh, if you really are worried just start taking a low dosage of propecia a day like 0.25mg
