Men who have some libido problems while on finasteride why not just take ED pills?

I am curious about this, if there are some men who suffer from ED related issues, why don't they just take ED pills?

I would think that as we get older it already plays a role and the pills are generally cheap and easily accessible?

Are we that shy?

Finasteride doesn't cause ED. It causes low libido.

ED is a vascular issue, caused by poor blood flow to the dick. You'll know you have ED if you're horny but can't stay hard for some reason. It's pretty rare. Only somewhat common in old men. ED pills work by facilitating bloodflow to that part of your body.

On the other hand, low libido is usually caused by hormonal issues, stress, or depression. If you have low libido, you won't be able to get horny in the first place. It doesn't matter how good your dick's bloodflow is, you won't get a boner because you simply won't be interested in sex.

For ED pills to work at all, you have to be somewhat horny in the first place. If Finasteride is preventing that, ED pills won't help much.

Interesting, I never thought about this.

The reason for my post was more of an abstract idea, that if people were suffering with low libido perhaps then ED pills can work (if I now understand better). I sometimes think that we are to many to pursue additional measures and avenues.

For some males it can also cause ED .

Cause it doesn't solve the issue of libido. Sure you can get hard but if orgasms are dull and you have no motivation to get laid than ED pills are essentially useless.
Why would you even want to have sex in such case? I don't understand. Imagine if smokers would complain that they had no motivation to smoke and wanted to increase it lol. Of course, smoking and sex are different, but you get the idea. The lack of libido should be a blessing if your girlfriend/wife/whatever doesn't want sex either. You could focus on other things in life.

Libido goes hand in hand with a man's drive for success in life, in my opinion.

Zap a man's libido and he's just kinda... there, his "alpha" is gone.

Keep in mind, a lot of dudes trying to keep their hair don't have a gf/wife/whatever, which is why their hair loss puts them in a panic. Guys who are settled down are less likely to give a sh*t.

Lack of Libido is not a blessing lol. It sucks, and can often result in depression.

Libido goes hand in hand with other drives. If your libido is low due to hormonal issues, you’ll have a hard time motivating yourself to do other things too. Just look up the symptoms of low testosterone and that is basically what men who get low libido from finasteride feel like.

when i was on dutasteride i had some libido but couldnt have sex ( i had the erection but not enough hard to have sex ). now after been off any drugs like duta o fina my libido is more high ( like when i was 17yo), erections are again full hard and semen is not more liquid. Not to mention that gyno slowly is flattening and going off.
i look like a sh*t with few miniaturized hairs at 28yo but there is not alternative..this life sucks.

I've never had a girlfriend that didn't want sex. Women love sex more than men, if you aren't giving it to her she will get it somewhere else.
