Would anyone here call this true? Basically I find it messed up that for 18 months I thought, not only are sides from Propecia reversible (from simply discontinuing the drug, according to people like Merck anyway) and that DHT does not play a major role in sex. I thought it mainly makes you look like a man on the outside with bodily hair and head baldness, whereas testosterone is what took care of the crotch area.

Not saying anything happened to me...couldn't honestly say for sure if it caused anything, if I do have sides. It's really hard to tell, but as of now I'm quitting. See my recent post in My Story thread in my profile.

lol yeah that's what I'm pretty much like right now.

I hate it when people think there's something you can do to get over your sorrows the next day.

Yet almost all the claims of sides come from the people that use it, despite the good hair results it has given them.

Also the drug has only been out since 97. They could not have figured out the long term effects of this thing, especially since their study has been a 2 or 5 year study, not sure which one. They DID do just one study right? When it comes to propecia for hair loss?

And who knows if they wanted to slightly change the numbers up...and it is said some percent "reported" side effects...not necessarily how many actually got them. Anyway I'm not saying the study isn't close to the truth. It wasn't until very recently I realized that there's nothing out there I would do to to make me experience less sexual satisfaction.

Been on finasteride for 1.5 years, or 2.16 if what I was taking before the propecia was real finasteride, and that was for 7 months. Heard of an online lab you can send samples to for testing, called toxassociates.com

It is obviuos that the claims in this video are true.

Nature is perfect and the way our bodies are designed is perfect. To claim that DHT has no major uses is absolutely absurd.

I do think that the body is very good at healing and i do think the negative effects of finasteride will eventually go away but think about how many years your body went through development during puberty. Our penis's grew in size over these years and DHT would have been responsible.

It could take years for our bodies to heal from the abuse that finasteride imposes.

Also check out the orange sticker above this thread. Still think the website and certain profile members arent biased and here merely to endorse and promote some of the products.

Nature is far from perfect.
It takes it generation to get something right.
We are in this predicament because nature thought it would be cool millions of years ago to make an ape go bald.

Yeah that came to mind as well. If N\nature is perfect why is male pattern baldness (a clear defect) part of it? Not trying to diss on God or anything...

I guess nature is perfect other than the one miniscule fact that we men have to endure hairloss.

Or maybe its our bodies way of telling us that theres something wrong hormonally because of the various abuses we put to it.

Hairloss isnt a genetic given. Its a genetic weakness.

Is not a genetic weakness.
Apes go bald, and it has been studied that baldness in apes plays a part in society.
Probably it had the same effect in early human history.

"Perfection" is relative.
Women who stored fat easily 150 years ago where thought to be beautiful, so it was a good trait to have, but not anymore.

That's why I hate all the appeal to nature fallacies.
The reason baldness could be considered an undesirable trait is completely social. There is no reason to believe is a "genetic weakness".
A tendency to grow tumors? that is a genetic weakness
