Min + finasteride : Anyone With Initial Growth Never Make It To Cosmetic Regrowth?

5.5 months finasteride, 1.5 months min. Since starting min, hairs at sides of hairline have started to come in, somewhere in between vellus and terminal. They have pigment but aren't as dark and thick as normal hair.

I hear a lot of people that reach this stage and never get any further, but generally it seems like they aren't also on finasteride. Has anyone on both finasteride and min had an experience of getting to this stage but never reaching real regrowth? Thanks.
