Used minoxidil topical for a few years.
16 days ago, changed to oral, using a 1/4 of 5mg tablet so 1.25mg daily.
Been checking my blood pressure and there's not been much difference. About a week ago started to get ache in right arm mostly elbow and wrist, didn't associate it with the minoxidil, but from yesterday I noticed a rash around right elbow and some minor swelling of elbow wrist and possibly fingers. So decided to stop the minoxidil, yesterday morning was the last time I took it, so 24 hours ago.
Today have small rash also in left upper arm and painful left wrist also.
I'm not 100% sure it's the minoxidil but seems likely?
How long before these symptoms go away if they are cause by the minoxidil?
I'm taking ibuprofen but is there anything else I should be doing?
