minoxidil 2% twice a day, then why minoxidil 5% twice a day?

Just started Rogaine 5% and was thinking of initially only using it once a day.

If minoxidil 2% is supposed to be applied twice a day, why do they recommend 5% to also be applied twice a day?

2x/day applications are obviously going to produce more regrowth than a 1x/day application.

Double the potency doesn't mean you only have to do it once a day, it's all about timing.
