minoxidil 5% once a day

I bought a year's supply of 5%, Kirkland minoxidil. It makes my head itch.
I am also using spironolactone and nizoral.

Will using minoxidil just at night be helpful, or is it only useful if you use it twice a day?

I can stand to use it just at night, but twice a day is just too ichy.

the itching will go away and you will most likely experience some flaking. just stay with it and i promise you will be happy you did. things change in any regimen, ups and downs esp with minoxidil. are you on finasteride? and do not over use nizoral. if you use it to much it will dry your scalp out like a desert.

Im not on finasteride. I am using spironolactone as my dht inhibitor. I went with spironolactone because the idea of internally modifying my hormones gives me the heebie jeebies.
Ok, I will use it twice a day, but damn. I hate itchy scalp. I am using Nizoral 3 times a week. That's what a lot of people on this site recommend.

I am also using a aloe enriched lotion from trader joes. It has lots of good stuff in it...lavender, aloe... and more. Good stuff.
