Hi!

I've been using 5% Rogaine since December. It doesn't seem like it's done anything for me as I've lost more hair. I've now been on finasteride for around three months as well.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts about using a stronger type of minoxidil. I know there's possible to buy both 10 and 15 precent online.

Is that possible? I know it's been talked about, but nothing definite.

There's lots of places to buy it.

Would recommend buying it local. Cold weather can negatively affect the formula.

Xandrox is good to start with. www.xandrox.com.

Medical wellness center is good, but higher priced.

Also revivogen has a good reputation as well.

I have used Rogaine foam 5%, would the switch to 10% be to much everyday at beginning?

Some people just dont respond to minoxidil at all. For some it even seems to speed up loss due to it messing up growth cycles. I would stick to 5% and give it good year and compare pics

Minoxidilmax.com is the best to place to get 10% and 15% minoxidil. Their products are very clos to Dr Lee's products.

Do you have any proof of this? I have never read this before.

Thanks for replies everyone. Has anyone actually tried it though?

finasteride and 5% minoxidil, 2 years, decent response, moderate thickening/regrowth.
Added 10% minoxidil for 4 months, no noticeable improvement. Added 15% minoxidil for 8 months. Maybe a slight improvement, nothing major.

Mix 600mg diclofenac and put it simply in 60 ml to get 1% concentration.
I think it will definetely help with the itching. You can read this study that even suggest a higher efficacy with a diclofenac, Tea tree oil and minodoxil: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3686323/

Diclofenac is a prostaglandin inhibitor: some suggest it has has growth promotions effects through dececreae of inflammation or inhibition of pgd2 production, controversially is also inhibit pge2 which is suggested to stimulate growth.

Are there any solid testimonials to 10%? Like any progress logs?

I've yet to see even one person with notable results from higher concentration minoxidil. I think it's pure jargon.. It's logic is like, "eating asparagus is good for you", then going and eating three pounds of asparagus and throwing up. I tried it for a few months, 15% and it just irritated the f*ck out of my scalp. With some medications less is more. I think anything above 5% is nothing but detrimental.

AntyDhtor uses a high concentration of minoxidil. I think 15% polaris. His minoxidil has aloe vera in it. How awesome is that?

lol.. yeah, I mean I guess? idk... He is also on the full blown "tranny" regimen, so I don't think you can attribute minoxidil to his results. ;)

If i had the means to access his regimen I would hop on it no questions asked. You should try the 15% minoxidil with aloe vera vehicle. Research it or ask Anty.

Ha ha :) K9gatton uses even 30% minoxidil. And some people use also the oral minoxidil (pills Brand Loniten or some generic of it).

Hey Anty, Do you think oral minoxidil works better than topical minoxidil?

Nah man, I tried 15% for a while. I know it was "working" because my heart rate would instantly increase from 60bpm to 120bpm, like I had just ran a mile. Also INCREASED my blood pressure from 120/60 to like 168/80.. have no idea why it had this effect on me. Did nothing for hair though. Also, irritated the f*ck out of my scalp.

I have decided recently to go balls out, since NOTHING seems to be working. I am now attempting dutasteride, RU, minoxidil (foam and liquid) and micro needling. I will STICK with this crap for six months. 2017 I will either have hair, or be bald as f*ck. There's no turning back now.
