Hi friends!

Got a Q. So if you use minoxidil even hair you dont hit by minoxidil reacts to it and aslo becomes addicted on it. So if you decide to stop, you will propably loose all addicted hair. But what about your eyebrow??? My eyebrow grow much faster and thicker when on minoxidil, will I loose my eyebrows if I stop minoxidil?

Thanx for reply.

That's not true. Don't know where you got that information from.

I know of no evidence whatsoever that hair (either balding or non-balding) becomes "addicted" to minoxidil in the sense that withdrawal at a later time causes permanent damage. Once again, take a look at the following graphs from a recent topical minoxidil study:

http://www.geocities.com/bryan50001/quitting-minoxidil.htm

After discontinuing the topical minoxidil after 96 weeks of use, haircounts and hairweights did indeed take a sharp dip, and even went BELOW the levels of those subjects who had been on placebo only. However, over the next 6 months, the haircounts and hairweights of the Rogaine users rebounded nicely, rapidly approaching the placebo users once again.
