Minoxidil After Surgery?

1. How long should I wait to apply Minoxidil post-surgery to the recipient area (one week or two weeks)?

2. Do I need to stop using Minoxidil prior to surgery? If so, when?

3. How long, if at all, should I wait to use Minoxidil in the crown area after after surgery, if the crown area was untouched by the procedure?

My Doctor told me 10 days, but i've been using minoxidil for 7 years prior. Dudemon's advice is sound.
