Hey guys,
I started taking minoxidil 5% 2 months ago primarily to treat a receding hairline and my crown area. When people look at me it's not obvious, but my hair is slowly thinning out, and I want to make that process as slow as possible.
Trouble is, this week I started having issues where I'd wake up with a pounding heart beat and sometimes at random times in the day feel like not enough air was getting to my lungs. I'm not asmatic and am an athlete. I knew this couldn't be right.
perhaps worse than that, I noticed that i was having trouble with performance with my girlfriend. Note: school is stressful, i have had ED before because of depression/anxiety, and also i had ED last summer caused directly by my anti-depressants (which I no longer take.)
So to be honest I'm not sure if the ED is connected to the Rogaine/minoxidil. I've heard that official sources don't list it as a side effect, but testimonials online do.
What do you folks think? The onset of the ED this time was sudden, little under 2 weeks ago.
