minoxidil, anyone using it only for the temples?

Hello, even though I am on the finasteride/dutasteride combo I am losing more and more ground every day. I am desperate, my whole floor is covered with hair. I can´t believe I still have a few of them on my head. So I think I have to start minoxidil now. But I am scared of sides. I mean, some people are worried that DHT inhibitors might damage their health or their libido. I am not, I am only concerned about cosmetic effects like a bloated face which would make me even more ugly. So my plan is to use only a little bit of the foam/DNC and apply it exclusively on the hairline to cover my huge forehead a little bit. Anybody has ever done this, what were the results?

Im using it on the temples and in front of the hairline only. I have grown new hair with it. Some of the new hair is really light but hoping it will change with a few cycles. I have grown some terminal hairs in my right temple though and there are lots of small hairs coming up around my whole hairline. If they all thicken up its gonna make a huge difference. Dont worry bout a bloated face, thats reversible if it happens.....right?

been using for a month and a half roughly only on my temples/hairline. im pretty sure theres lots of short new dark brown hairs along the top of my hairline where there wasnt before, like closing it up about 3 hairs width if you get me. im hoping these are the results of minoxidil and not a dodgy barber. im getting another trim soon and so i should be able to tell in another month and hopefully see some real results.

cosmetically rogaine can make your scalp peel however this is usually only temporary and it can make your hair greasy or stiff depending on if your using the foam or liquid.
in my experience with rogaine my scalped peeled in the beginning but this only lasted about a week and my hair is left greasy until the product dries (i use liquid)

Yeah, but he is. It is Iggy Pop. Full hair makes you look much younger. Nevertheless, he looks old and wrinkly. So it is somehow frustrating to hear comments like that. Well, at least I know where I am standing. :wink:

Well, but the "hot nurses" can´t look into my pants. I think size is totally useless when it comes to approaching women. And I also doubt that any woman would ignore an ugly face just because of a large tool. In the end my size hasn´t done anything for me so far.

Taug, you have nothing to be worried about. Remember brown paper bags have many uses other than holding groceries or trash. Just remember to cut a large hole where your mouth and nose are because I would not want you to suffocate during your first time. That would be a virgin's nightmare!
