[SUB]Hello I've been lurking Hairlosstalk and after reading all the succes stories I've decided to try out Minoxidil from kirkland.
Last night I had put some on the front of my scalp in hopes of regaining my hair but today at work I felt a unbareable pain in my lower back.
Is this even common? Did you guys ever experience something like this? [/SUB]

Well it does hurt freaking bad and it just so happens that I started minoxidil last night. Kind of weird coincidence.

That's what it is. A coincidence. minoxidil works by increasing blood flow to where it is applied. Very little if anything gets into the blood stream. How do you suppose this would cause back pain?

Stop minoxidil for a couple of days and see it that pain will go away.
I never heard about anyone experiencing that side effect before but who knows.

I am experiencing, what it seems to be, the same exact symptoms. I just started to use Kirkland Minoxidil and it feels like I am going through kidney stone issues. The back pain I experienced yesterday was unbearable but I lack the rest of kidney stone symptoms.
I stopped taking it last night and today. Feeling better now, not completely but I am much better. Will try to post my experiences here as I go on.

If minoxidil i giving you back or chest pains--i would see a cardiologist because unless you have something already wrong i don't see how minoxidil can effect you so badly unless you are over dosing the medication.
