minoxidil before shower??

I was wondering if anyone uses minoxidil before they take a shower. I personally use xandrox and spectral DNC every now and then, I know that spectral and some formulations of xandrox contain retinoic acid. Retin-A is supposed to help with absorption. Being able to slap the stuff on 10-15 minutes before a shower would help out a lot and keep the stuff from messing up my hair. So help me out here..

No....you must leave minoxidil on your scalp for an extended period for it to have its intended effect. Applying and rinsing it off 15 minutes later won't cut it.

An interesting question - from a study I read about twice as much 2% minoxidil is absorbed at 11 hours as is absorbed at 1 hours post application. I f anyone knows more about why this is so could you please say something in this topic here
