Minoxidil can cause a allergic reaction?

It makes almost 3 weeks that my eyes are red and iritated, last week I also had some problem in my throat and I still have the same problem today( sore throat). My physician did some test to see if it was a virus, but come to the conclusion it was most an allergic reaction to something. I started using minoxidil on july 15. It is possible that the minoxidil is the cause of this? because at the moment I am looking at everything that could cause this.

stop minoxidil for a week see if it gets any better .

Yeah I want to do that, but on the other side, I am in the middle on an extreme shed and I am worried about my hairs. :\ I want to be sure the minoxidil can cause this kind of allergy before stopping it.

I saw your thread, but it's definatly not devil eyes and I don't wear contact lens
