hey guys , i know that a lot of people will say that dark circle from minoxidil are bullshit , even me i thought it was not possible , but i am geting bad dark circle from the minoxidil .
However i don't want to drop it because it is a proven treatment .
So what can i do ? I have reduced my dosage .
I don't blame entirely the minoxidil for my dark circle , i know this is genetic but it is sure that the minoxidil worsen them .
Moreover i apply it on my temple and hairline so maybie that is too close from my eye .

Had same sides when I took minoxidil ages ago. minoxidil reduces collagen synthesis so try something to boost collagen, dermarolling?

I've always had dark circles but minoxidil made my eyelids puffy and wrinkly at first. I reduced the dose (nearly half) and apply it very carefully, wash my hands after, don't touch my hair throughout the day and never apply it when my hair is damp. This has helped relieve my symptoms, stick to it for a month to see if you see any improvement.

Also take a close look at older photos to determine just how much worse it's made it. It's quite possible you're just noticing something that's always been there.

Well then stop applying it close to your eyes.

It's not rocket science. Either you get rid of your problem by reducing your dose and being more careful or you don't. If you don't you either stop using it, in the hopes that this resolves to issue, or keep using it and accept that you will have dark circles.

There's nothing else you can do. There's no magic cure. It's very possible to circles are unrelated to minoxidil even.
