Hi everyone,

So, quickly: I’ve been using minoxidil 5% since April 9th 2019 with gooood results, basically, I started by applying 7 drops on the thin areas, BUT after two years I ended up applying 11 drops instead and this led to buying two bottles a month and of course, it got too much expensive now.

My question is: can I start putting less (going from 11 drops to 7 again) liquid or will I experience a shed?

I know it might sound stupid, but everything is unknown when it comes to hair

It's fine, and completely normal. You won't experience a shed unless you completely stop using Minoxidil for a prolonged period of time. The aim of Minoxidil application (or any other topical) is to cover the effected areas. Different people have different sized heads, affected areas and hair length which very much effect the amount of Topical you would need to use.
