Heat is very bad for minoxidl. It destabilizes the molecule and turns into something that is no longer effective because it is NOT minoxidl.
I would say that as long as your minoxidl was not exposed to heat and/or strong sunlight then it should be good for a while. Be very careful with heat though. Extreme cold might be bad, too, but I am guessing that it would have to be below freezing to affect this substance in any way. Heat is the real enemy here, so don't put for minoxidl near the dryer or anything like that.
You should not blow dry your hair with minoxidl on it.
