I am a diffuse thinner with receded temples.

Heres the thing, I've used Rogaine twice on just the temples and stopped after 2 months each time. I responded and grew straight away. Yes stopping was stupid, but moving on.

BOTH times that I stopped.. i didn't just lose my temples where I applied the minoxidil, no I Shed ALL OVER MY HEAD. Yes, both times, for months on end.

If 3 years ago my baseline was 100%... after stopping minoxidil first time, it would of dropped to 65%.. then after stopping second time the following year, my hair is now 35%

I just started Propecia for two months, then stopped due to ACNE.. Im talking bad ACNE. So Im taking antibiotics to counter that.

Im going to commence DUTAS 3 times a week now.. apparently not also is it stronger sh*t with both types of DHT but also reduces ACNE.

Thing is.. this shedded hair ive lost from minoxidil.. Im talking the healthy ones.. will they grow back?

ALSO

WHAT CAN I USE ON MY TEMPLES TO GROW THEM BACK OTHER THAN minoxidil.. WHERE CAN I GET IT FROM.. IS IT AS GOOD AS minoxidil?

Love,

minoxidil will not cause you to lose hairs that will not grow back. the hairs shed by minoxidil will grow back they are not permanantly lost hair follicles they have just shed early and will need to grow back in. what are your reasons for stopping minoxidil when you were getting good results though?

Try taking some MSM for a couple of monthes to speed up the growth of the hair that shed. The hair that shed due to stopping minoxidil will grow back. The new hair that was grown through minoxidil...will not.

why will MSM help?

And cause I don't trust myself to use minoxidil long term.. I'll eventually stop again and lose more hair.

So what can I use on my temples?

Get back on minoxidil, it works for you, so stick with it. Not sure dutasteride will be a good choice for you, think carefully about it, long term effects are unknown. If finasteride caused you problems maybe a topical DHT routine would be best for now.
