Hi guys. Been reading this forum for ages, decided to join up. So I'll kick start with my story then question.
I've used minoxidil twice in the past 2 years. Each time I've been on it for 2 months then stopped. I only applied it to my temples/hairline.
What were the results? First time I used it, hairline grew back after 1.5 months. Second time took 2 months. On both occassions that I stopped, I shed hair all over the top, not just the temples where I applied it. Is it coincidence? Don't know. But i had water retention and had a few affects on me.
Ok so heres my dilemma. I have about 1 month / 1 week to regrow at least vellus hairs back on my temples. Just to cover the skin. If I gel the hair up spikey, you can see missing hair on the side of the widows peak. A bit of styling can camoflauge it, but I'd rather cover it with at least vellus hairs. It's shed obviously as I stopped the 2nd round of minoxidil around 3 months ago.
So what have I just started? Folligen cream. I'm applying it at night. I'm also applying Revivogen during the day.
So for fast results, what else can I throw on OTHER than minoxidil. I'll spend whatever to get whatever on there, but whatever is available in New Zealand only. Emu oil perhaps? Whatever you recommend Im buying and using tomorrow, but please only stuff that works! Lol. Cheers
