Minoxidil Is Not Effective For Receeding Hairline?

I'm reading this patent

and it says:

"Minoxidil use is indicated for central (vertex) hair loss only and does not affect receding hairlines"

Is that true? Where did they get that from? I've never heard that. If it can grow hair anywhere it is applied, including beard, eyebrows and even forehead (so I read), why the heck would it not be effective for a receeding hairline???

No, that is an statement that FDA obligated it to put cause on the old clinical trials, made more than 30 years ago, they test it only in vertex.

It wasn't tested on the hairline and thus it can't be advertised as such, but it works.
