Minoxidil made things worse

My head is full of dandruff and sometimes full of itches. I think it is making things worse, because with Propecia+Nizoral my head was pretty clean, i had no dandruff and no itches.

I am already using Nizoral, so please don't suggest to use it.

And no matter if you use an anti dandruff shampoo, because you must apply this sh*t minoxidil twice a day, so if you wash your head, few hours later you must apply again minoxidil and the dandruff comes back.

I tried not applying minoxidil for 24 hours, and my head was clean and felt very good.

I used to have the problem. I later switched to Rogaine 2% (less PPG) and Dr. Lee's PPG free 5% minoxidil, and I haven't had any dandruff or itching since. I don't use the Dr Lee formula during the day because it takes forever to dry. But if your getting intense itching, it's better to get off whatever you're using and try something else.

Try adding a Copper Peptide like Tricomin, Folligen or Revitalize, a lot of people say this has helped their itching & flaking.

87david: Do you think the ppg free minoxidil is effective? Do you get any irritation from it? I have tried both 5% and 2% minoxidil and they both irritate my scalp so much that I cant use them. I am thinking of trying the ppg free minoxidil.

People have a lot of success with the PPG Free minoxidil, only thing is that glycerine replaces the PPG which is a little more greasy.
