minoxidil making me look fat

when i use minoxidil i look fat is this due to water retention?? i use 5% kirkland twice a day at 2ml each time to cover my whole head and it makes me look like a fat f*** so im only gonna use it once a day at 2ml i was also thinking about using 2 % minoxidil would this be better??? or isnt 2% enouth to keep the hair i have gained?

From what I've heard the minoxidil does cause water retention. Try switching to the foam, it's better. The only thing I can suggest for now is to watch your salt intake.

Yes, it can cause water retention. Seems like you may be using too much, instead of 2ml once daily, try 1ml twice daily, would work better.

If you switch to 2%, you may lose hairs if they were dependent on 5% minoxidil.

ya..i think more than 1ml at a time could worsen it for you
